Merry Christmas to all.
Xiaomi CEO has said it many a times that the device is worth waiting for and we trust him on this. Looking at these leaked images that claim to be of Xiaomi Mi5, we surely got goosebumps looking at this amazing design. Reason that Xiaomi gave for delaying this device is “User Experience Enhancement”. Per the reports, Snapdragon 820 has exceptional qualities of giving a flawless user experience and Xiaomi would never want to loose on this being the first ones getting to use the 820 processor.
The images recently leaked flaunt exteriors of metal and that makes it look very premium. Mi logo on the rear is a shiny chrome that even enhances the appeal of the phone. Camera, flash and the rear sensor are in a horizontal queue. The bending sides gives it a look which is more like HTC One M9.
Another major difference that we can figure from these images is the physical home button. Xiaomi in their all previous devices has always had a feather touch home button which this time is going to be replaced by a physical button. Reports say that this is being done to allow Xiaomi get more impactful finger print. This as a result will reduce the response time to unlock. Studies also say, that a user feels the unlock faster when pressing the button than just touching it.
This leak doesn’t talk about the specs, which we think are going to be what we earlier discussed:
- 3D Force Touch
- 5.2 ” Display
- 4 GB RAM
- Snapdragon 820 Processor
- 3200 mAh Battery
The controversy on the OS still remains active. Earlier reports indicated that Xiaomi is planning two versions of Xiaomi Mi5, one will be with as expected Android Marshmallow and the other with Windows 10. For this to confirm we will have to wait for the launch.
